I wasn't kidding, I only play on hardcore servers and its 1-3 shots for a kill in BC2. I get frustrated to no end with MW2 when a guy can be about 10 feet away and magically warp and knife you. I'm not saying the bugs and such from BC2 don't annoy me, but I just find I enjoy it a lot more than I do with MW2. I'm glad I didn't pay a dime for MW2 and only $20 for BC2, because at those prices its worth it to me :D

I wish I could have some of what your smokin, because you are definitly living in a dream. Maybe I'm more bitter because not only did I pay full price but I helped beta test, and these problems have been there since the beta. For all the time I play MW2 I could only attest to the occasional hacker, and I say, serves them right for implamenting such a poor utility to catch hackers. VAC has never worked right, PB has been way better over the years, however I don't fault the game, I'm sure the game developers didn't have a choice on that when motivated by corporate. I have played both BFBC2 and MW2 on both pc and xbox 360, and can also say that BFBC2 also sux on multi platforms. Its just as hard if not harder than the pc version. MW2 on the other hand is very playable. No matter what anyone says, I will always hate the game. I may still play it, but thats only because the clan chooses to play as a whole. Riddle me this, why would BF give you a choice of gun unlocks both us and foriegn versions of weapons that have no advantage over one another. WHY? So they can say oh I like all US guns, or vice versa? Thats just dumb. Example, 9A-91, Scar, whats the difference? NOTHING! Both have the same damange, rate of fire, and accuracy. Here is another weapon conundrum, Why for the engineer would you also make available the UMP-45 if the AKS-74U has the same specs with an increased fire rate. Why would you even include the UMP if the very next unlock gives you the same gun essentially with a faster fire rate? It just doesnt make sense to me. For the sniper, 3 of the 7 available unlockable guns have no use at all. Thats almost half of the weapons that the only redeeming feature maybe the scopes are different. Vehicles which is whats supposed to make the game good, is the cause for much frustration as the turret response is severely nerfed once you enter. Even for those that jack up the mouse sensativity.... With all that in mind how can you honestly say this game is better? My number one problem however with all that said, is still without a doubt the mouse lag. At least in MW2 if I am getting shot I can whip around and kill the guy. I cannot say that for BFBC2.

I dunno man, guess its just me, even with all the warts I find BC2 more enjoyable. And I'm not talking only of hackers in MW2..but the perks make it rather rediculous (thats actually what I was talking about with the 10 ft long sword)...I have run into a ton of hackers in it and that frustrates me more than any bug in a game. Eh, different strokes I guess...don't get me wrong the bugginess in BC2 irritates me but the weapons stuff really doesn't mean a whole lot to me as I tend to find a gun and stick with it that may not be the most powerful or what not. :)

I guess rebooting my router last night was NOT a good idea! After the reboot, it ceased to function properly. For whatever reason, it would no longer grab an address from the cable modem. Trip to Wally World this afternoon for a new one fixed it! I should be on tonight, barring any other issues!

The new 10.6 Catalyst driver fixed my map loading issue with BFBC2. If anyone with an ATI is running old drivers, you should update. Its almost instant load now for me.
