Headsets?

Ok so I'm looking to get a new set since my LTB's kind of broke..they are being held together with gorilla glue and electrical tape right now lol. Looking at spending around $100. Unfortunately I missed out on the sale at Best Buy for the Logitech G35's for $85 Was thinking of picking up the Razer Lacharsis or Plantronic Gamecon 777 but I seem to read mixed reviews about both. Any suggestions or what are you guys using?

So do you like them? Just ordered a pair of the Plantronics Gamecon 377 so we'll see. Hopefully I'll be getting a pair of the Logitech G35's for review...but thats up in the air.

I am looking to get new ones myself, mine are just worn out. I have to say after some tweaking they really sound good. Could they be better yes... I think if they made all the speakers sound as good as the mains it would be one awesome headset. I like the idea of the new psyko headset but 300 bones for a set of cans is redonkulous. I did allot of research a while ago and it seems that 5.1 sets all seem to be lacking it at least one major way. Not are all the same as far as their downfalls but still thats enough to steer people in the stereo direction. I just can see going back to a 2 channel setup, my ears have grown to accustom to hearing the entire sound field, whether its good or bad.

Yeah, while I enjoyed the LTBs I had they definitely were flawed in that all the speakers were not equal. That is why I am going back to just stereo, just seems that all 5.1's are flawed in some way or another.
